 "The Boss" swings by to show us how it is done....   Fitting the cavity spacer battens carefully at 300mm spacings so shadowclad cladding nails will line up....  Apparently the boys did a bad job at masking the fascia before painting the soffits! It took longer to scrape off the over-paint than to paint in the first place - but they look great now!  Batten Production Central !  (Variation on the theme:) Level twice, nail once!  Pinstripes for winter....  The last battens go on in the rain but the nice big eaves kept me dry as I worked!  |
