As this slab wasn't critically important, I decided to have a go at placing it myself. The main slab would be poured first then a second manually mixed pour would form the shape of the corrugated iron to the slab to mouse proof it. Getting a work-out!  No pressure now - an audience is gathering....  Starting to level it out  We get some welcome advice from the concrete truck driver... and order an extra batch of concrete....  Finishing the leveling, then time to float the top with the new bull float and extention bar  Phew - no disaster and another experience gained :-) |
